an exceptional contrast ratio (1000:1), Daewoo's plasma television
puts the finishing touch to your home entertainment system.
Our plasma televisions offer a super wide viewing angle,
excellent picture quality and rich digital interfaces, which
are compatible with set top boxes and DVD players.
We are working hard to further improve the picture quality of our plasma television,
by developing a unique circuit engine that improves the image, focus and contrast
ratio. Development will be complete by 2004.

Analogue and digital tuner (DVB-T) will be built in to our plasma
televisions next year to further enhance Daewoo's digital TV
line up.
All of our plasma televisions provide users with convenient and easy to use functions
and controls.
Our plasma TVs not only perform to the highest of standards, they look good too.
They would be a stylish addition to any home. Their weight and thin design allows
you to hang the TV from a wall to save space in your bedroom or living room.
Colourful Technology
In a plasma display panel, an electrical discharge passes through
a special gas mixture to produce UV light. This light reacts
with the red, blue, or green phosphorus coating in each cell,
to produce the
millions of bright colours you see on the screen.
This reaction takes place between panels that are 0.1mm apart,
allowing the plasma display panels to be super thin.
Picture Perfect
Daewoo's advanced plasma technology ensures there is no colour
spreading or flickering pictures. Unlike CRT television, plasma
television is unaffected by surrounding magnetic fields. This
ensures a unique and even picture being maintained at all times.
Bringing the theatre to your home
Daewoo's plasma television has a super wide viewing angle with widescreen 16:9
aspect ratio, which is standard for digital broadcasting and DVD.
There is no noise from cooling fans because Daewoo's plasmas use unique fan less
technology, for heat suppression and noise reduction. |

Making multimedia a reality
Daewoo PDPs make multi-media visible: The various inputs may
be used to install set top boxes, digital satellite receivers,
DVD players, PCs and many other devices.
The number of options is unlimited - from enjoying films and
movies in your living-room to making presentations in the company.
With its multi-standard (PAL/SECAM/NTSC) as well as its on-screen
display available in eleven languages you can use your PDP around
the whole world.
To select your favourite picture you can choose among 16:9 and
4:3 aspect ratio, panoramic screen, 20x zoom and still picture.
