Vital Air Purifying System
Unlike conventional air filters that rely upon a constant light
source, the new Vital Air Purifying System uses a new hybrid
catalyst to cleanse airbone impurities regardless of available
light.
The new hybrid catalyst works to remove air pollutants such
as germs, dust and cigarette smoke.
Expanded use of CFC-free Refrigerants
Most air conditioners currently use a type of R-22 freon gas
that has been proven harmful to the environment and destroys
the ozone layer whenever its chlorine atoms are decomposed
by ultraviolet rays. The ozone layer is crucial to environment
health, as it regulates weather patterns and blocks UV rays
from contacting the earth; its destruction leads to abnormal
climate change and global warming, not to mention an increase
in skin cancer. Accordingly, world leaders intend to reduce
Freon gas levels by restricting their use through the Montreal
Protocol. Daewoo Electronics plans to do its part by expanding
the use of CFC-free refrigerants and pitching in to save
the environment.
